Aston Kauai Beach at Makaiwa Pictures & Description
 | Formerly known as the Kauai Coconut Beach, this lovely ocean front property has undergone extensive renovations since it was taken over by the Marriott hotel chain. And typical of all Marriott properties, it has been transformed into a beautiful hotel. Reminiscent of Hawaii's plantation era, the hotel is set on the secluded sands of Waipouli Beach, amidst a 10-acre coconut grove. The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated, featuring down/feather pillows and luxurious linens and furnishings. The bathrooms are large and beautifully designed and feature spray jets in the bathtub. There is cable/satellite TV with complimentary cable channels CNN, ESPN and HBO. A large lanai offers the perfect spot to watch the sunset or just to ponder on the beauty of Kauai. |
The Aston Kauai Beach at Makaiwa has several dining spots, including Cook's Landing for lunch; Market, which is a kiosk featuring fast food items; the fabulous Tihati's Hiva Pasefica, traditional Hawaiian cuisine with one of the very best Polynesian shows in the state; and, Voyager Grille, a terrific classic steakhouse. There is an oceanfront swimming pool and whirlpool, tennis, jogging paths, on-site massage services that also include body scrubs and wraps as well as facial treatments.
