The Castle Queen Kapiolani Hotel is ideally situated at the edge of Kapiolani Park and just a block away from Kuhio Beach, one of the finest swimming, sunning and surfing sections of Waikiki beach.
Kapiolani Park is the site of the site of the historic Diamond Head, the world renowned Honolulu Zoo, the Waikiki Shell ... home of many concerts and shows, the Honolulu Aquarium, the Kapiolani Rose Garden, the Sunday Art Shows, the tennis courts, the golf driving range, the soccer fields, the archery range and even a 3-mile jogger's course which encompasses part of the Honolulu Marathon Course. It is recognized as one of our nation's finest recreational parks.

 

 

  Strolling out of the hotel away from the park is the broad stretch of Kalakaua Avenue, the "heartbeat" of Waikiki. Kalakaua Avenue's main attractions are hundreds of shops, shows, luaus, restaurants and shopping malls.
All of this makes the location of the Castle Queen Kapiolani Hotel an excellent combination of the cosmopolitan, the scenic and the serene. A perfect vacation choice!

   Gracious and Regal

The Castle Queen Kapiolani Hotel is one of the most beautiful in Waikiki. The hotel is named for the royal consort of King Kalakaua (1874-1891), Queen Kapiolani. In decor, the hotel recaptures the personality of the 19th century Hawaiian Monarchy, offering regal charm and character with contemporary comfort.
The hotel is situated so that many rooms offer an un-obstructed view of world famous Diamond Head and the greenery of Kapiolani Park, while others offer views of the ocean and Waikiki just a short block away.

 


Rooms at the Castle Queen Kapiolani Hotel have been newly renovated and carry out the Hawaiian Monarchy theme in their decor. All rooms are air-conditioned and have color TV. Most have private lanais.

For recreation, the hotel has a third floor swimming pool and sun deck, and in the lobby, there are wonderful gift shops.

  The Castle Queen Kapiolani Hotel also has superb dining facilities. The magnificent Peacock Room is a Hawaiian Monarchy setting of oak paneling and portraits of men and women famous during the Monarchy era. The Peacock Room can be reserved for special functions. Next to the Peacock Room is the open air setting of the Queen's Garden Lanai, which features a variety of succulent buffets breakfast, lunch and dinner. Both the Peacock Room and the Garden Lanai also have full a la carte menus for all meals. On the second floor of the hotel there is the famous Queen's Lounge, where complimentary hors d'oeuvres are served nightly.

Our Owner Roz Says ...   The Queen Kapiolani is a good choice for a budget hotel close to famous Waikiki Beach, the Zoo and Park. I would recommend you book ocean view or higher category rooms as the lower floors are quite noisy due to street traffic. .
Our Agent James Says ...   Easy to find, and away from the congestion of central Waikiki. It is conveniently located near a nice stretch of Waikiki Beach and the Honolulu Zoo and Kapiolani Park is right across the street.
