| Grand Wailea Resort's Family & Childrens Program The Grand Wailea Resort's Camp Grande is a fun, spacious and friendly mini-resort for kids 5 to 12 years old. The 20,000 square foot facility is designed to accommodate the whim of every child and their parents. Fun and exciting activities range from learning to play the ukulele and dancing hula, to playing ancient Hawaiian lawn games, kite making and storytelling. A minimum of 3 children are necessary to operate Day and Night Camp. Please call Camp at least 24 hours in advance to register. Morning session - 9AM to 12:30PM: Kids begin with a "friendship circle" so that they can meet fellow campers and get to know their counselors. Activities may include sand-sculpting contests, guided tide pooling and reef exploration, nature walks along the beach, swimming, relay races, games, arts & crafts, and scavenger hunts. Afternoon Session: 12:30-4PM: Afternoons are filled with water fun at the Wailea Canyon Activity Pool and later kids relax in the camp Theatre to enjoy popcorn and snacks. Night Camp: 5P-10P: Exciting adventures are in store for kids with walkie-talkie tag, hotel scavenger hunts, sand crabbing, theatre games, picture frame making and cookie decorating. Fees; $75 for a full day, $45 for a Morning or Afternoon Session, $55 for Night Camp. Special workshops (3-4PM) range from $10 to $35. Camp Grande is for children (ages 5-12) of hotel guests and rates are only payable in Hawaii. Program and rates are subject to change without notice. Registration takes place at the start of each session. Morning session includes lunch, afternoon session includes a snack, and Night Camp includes dinner. | RESORT FEE: The Grand Wailea Resort charges a mandatory Resort Fee of $25 per night per room that is in addition to our rates and that will be automatically added to your bill by the hotel.
