 | Our Sales Manager Chris Says ... My favorite inexpensive hotel in the town of Kailua-Kona, this great hotel was built practically right on top of the ocean. Adjacent is a small ash colored beach that is a bit too rocky for general swimming but is a very good snorkeling area with lots of green sea turtles known as "Honu" in Hawaiian. The Keauhou Beach Resort offers Hawaiian cultural programs (free of charge) with hula, lei-making and Hawaii Language classes. Also on the grounds is a replica of the summer house of King Kalakaua and other archeological sites. |
| Our Agent Phyllis Says ... This is one of the best values in the moderately priced hotels on the Big Island. There is a good snorkling beach next door and the views in the ocean view categories are some of the best for the price. The Keauhou Shopping Center is right down the street for a selection of restaurants ranging from pizza places to Japanese restaurants. A good choice! |  |
