| What's Blue , yellow and red , has a thousand fins and stands three stories tall? One of the most unique hotel attractions in the world, the Pacific Beach Hotel's Oceanarium is a three story structure 52 feet long and 32 feet wide, holding 280,000 gallons of seawater at a depth (or height) of 26 feet. The water's tremendous weight is supported by 2 feet thick concrete walls which are reinforced with stainless steel cable. The oceanarium's windows are made of shatterproof laminated acrylic, each measuring 12 feet wide and six feet high. Supporting 46 tons of water pressure, each bottom window is seven inches thick and weighs one and a half tons. The upper windows are four inches thick and weigh one ton apiece; and each is subject to 14 tons of water pressure. There are over 70 different species of marine life represented, all from the Indo-Pacific and most of them native to Hawaiian waters. All together, the tank depicts the type of reef community you might find on a dive around our islands. The big advantage here is that you can have your undersea excursion while enjoying a great meal in the warm, dry comfort of one of the hotel's fine restaurants. | | The Oceanarium restaurant's crowd pleasing menus and fabulous marine backdrop make it the ideal choice for the whole family. | | | The Shogun Restaurant is an exquisite excursion though the japanese culinary tradition. And Neptune's Garden combines creative dinner cuisine and casual island hospitality. | | The Pacific Beach Hotel also offers over 22'000 square feet of meeting and Banquet facilities. Eight funtion rooms (including one of Waikiki's largest balrooms) and complete A/V and food and beverage services make it easy to educate or entertain. Add an experienced staff that brings it all together, and you've got the perfect setting for events of every kind. | |

 | Our Sales Manager Chris Says ... The Pacific Beach Hotel is a good mid-level hotel across the street from a very nice stretch of beach in Waikiki. Beach activities as well as a variety of dining and night life options are easily within walking distance. Guests will love the hotel's unique indoor oceanarium and restaurant. |
| Our Agent Kelsey Says ... Here's what my client had to say about the Pacific Beach Hotel: Aloha Kelsey, We had a great time in Oahu, the island is beautiful. Our stay at the Pacific Beach Hotel was just what we needed. Our room had a fantastic view of Diamond Head and the beach, the room was clean and well kept and the staff was very helpful (they told me to park the car myself instead of valet, with easy access to the hotel, gave us great information about the area, places to eat, shop, etc. .. ). We really enjoyed having the beach right across the street. My kids even took surfing lessons right on the beach, great time. The pool is extremely small, it's just a lap pool (maybe half a lap). I would recommend the Pacific Beach Hotel as a home base for exploring all that Oahu has to offer. Thanks again for all your help in making this a memorable vacation. R. Mester | |
