| Relive the Plantation Era of Old Hawaii Imagine spending your vacation not just in another place, but in another time. Come, turn back the clock to old Hawaii and enjoy the quiet serenity of a bygone age in paradise. Awaken to a fresh sea breeze coming in off the blue pacific. Your plantation cottage is absolutely delightful with its ceiling fans and period furniture of mahogany, rattan, and wicker. It was originally built in the early 1900's and has been completely restored and updated with modern amenities and conveniences. Explore amongst the coconut groves right outside your door. Picnic under a cool banyan tree. Walk the private tranquil lawns bordering the sea. Live like the plantation owners themselves if you choose. The Alan E. Faye' Manager's Estate is an exquisite period piece, a two-story house built circa 1900. This fine, fully restored, five-bedroom, 4,000 square feet house is beautifully appointed, offering a comfortable oceanfront lanai, two dining areas, five bedrooms, and a large living room. All cottages offer private lanais (porches), for relaxing and listening to the rustle of palms in the gentle trade winds as you sip a tropical drink and congratulate yourself for being in this peaceful, unhurried hideaway, this uniquely nostalgic part of old Hawaii. | Enjoy the Modern Comforts of New Hawaii Amenities include weekly housekeeping and linen service, laundry facilities, complete kitchens, telephone, cable TV, and stereo. Additional services are also available. Relax by our beachside pool. Shorecast from the beach. Roam the expansive grounds beautifully planted with tropical fruit trees and exotic flowers. Stroll along a black sand beach. Enjoy spectacular sunsets over the island of Niihau. And for those who might like to balance all this peace and quiet with a little hustle and bustle, Kauai's leading resort area is less than a thirty-minute drive. | | | Old-fashioned Aston Value One feature of ResortQuest Waimea Plantation Cottages that guests especially enjoy is Aston's famous value. Ever since the day we opened our first hotel nearly fifty years ago, Aston has been renowned for always providing guests with extra special value. Come enjoy the beauty, comforts, and historic delights of ResortQuest Waimea Plantation Cottages. Historic Waimea On the beautiful Garden Isle of Kauai, the historic plantation town of Waimea nestles at the mouth of Waimea Canyon, often called the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. It was here that ancient Hawaiian kings lived and greeted Captain James Cook on his 1778 "discovery" of the Hawaiian Islands. Kaumuali'i, the last King of Kauai, initiated the exotic sandalwood trade with China and welcomed the first American missionaries to Waimea. Over the years, sugar cane replaced taro as the chief agricultural crop and, in 1884, Waimea Sugar Mill Company was established. The flourishing mill built cottages for its employees and their families. It is these very cottages -restored and modernized- that have become ResortQuest Waimea Plantation Cottages. Amenities | - Pool, tennis courts, volleyball

 | Our Agent James Says ... Far off the beaten path, these authentic Hawaiian plantation cottages offer the closest access to Waimea Canyon State Park - a must see!! |
| Our Agent Brad Says ... This is a very unique property. The condos are actually old housing for the workers on the sugar cane plantations of years past. The cottages have been modernized, but they are still a bit rustic. The beach is good for strolling along, but not good for swimming because the Waimea river empties into the ocean nearby. | |
