Rates include unlimited mileage and Hawaii state general excise tax of 4% but do not include other state surcharges and fees. All Hawaii rental car companies require the driver to be 21 or over. On Feb 24, 2010 at 6:52P Ed Johnson said I recently returned from a trip to the Big Island. I had made two Hertz car reservations through your web site. I was very pleased with the handling of the reservation. Being a Hertz Gold member, I didn't expect to see them treat me as a gold member when I didn't book directly with Hertz. Everything was exactly as you said they would be. I was a little hesitant to NOT book directly through Hertz and to pay the entire rental in advance. But after this experience, I will certainly be looking for further reservations through Travel-Hawaii.com. Thank you for the great service (and especially the prices).
