The King Kamehameha Luau operates Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Luau check-in time is 4:30 pm with seating at 5:00 pm. Cocktail seating at 6:30pm. Luau includes traditional Imu Ceremony, spectacular Polynesian Revue, international buffet dinner and open bar. Transportation is NOT included. Hanohano Package: For Adults $15 & Children $10 paid directly to reservation desk in Hawaii clients receive preferred seating. The Royal Court, representing the personages of King Kamehameha I and his retainers, arrives at Kamakohonu Bay aboard an outrigger canoe to a greeting by the Court Conch Herald and Court Chanter. Follow this procession into the Royal Grounds to see the Lu'au main course removed from the "Imu" (underground oven). Watch and participate as they demonstrate and teach Polynesian and Hawaiian arts and crafts. Weave coconut fronds, learn how to open a coconut and have an artist draw a removable Polynesian tattoo on your arm. From the Fijian and Maori dances of war to the gracefulness of the Hawaiian Hula dancers hands, they bring a family fun filled evening with the daring Samoan fire knife dancer highlighting the evening. Luau Desk and Parking: The Island Breeze Lu'au reservation desk is located in the lobby of King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. Vouchers must be turned in for lu'au tickets at the lu'au desk. Guests must have tickets to be admitted to the lu'au. Ample parking is available at the King Kamehameha's Kona Beach Hotel. Validation is given at the lu'au desk and during the lu'au. Parking is $3.00 with validation.
