Feast of early Hawaii are a way of communicating or celebrating. Called aha-aina (gathering for a meal), in ancient time, the term LUAU came later and refers to the young, edible taro leaf that food is wrapped in while cooking. On the grounds of the Royal Lahaina Resort, the Luau is still a celebration of life. A time to share traditional foods, songs, music and dance with guests from other cultures. Come and enjoy this memorable experience in the true spirit of Aloha.

And while the sun sets along beautiful Kaanapali Beach, the Royal Lahaina presents an authentic ceremony, including a traditional shell lei greeting and an open-bar featuring standard cocktails, beer, wine, soda, and punch. Guests are invited to gather while our cooks present an authentic Imu Ceremony where the evening's main course, Kalua Pig is unearthed. Following our luau feast, guests sit back and relax as the Royal Lahaina's dynamic cast of dancers, singers, drummers and musicians presents a spellbinding journey through the South Pacific islands of Hawaii, Tahiti, and Samoa. The evening culminates with the exciting Samoan "fire knife" dance.

Generally tours canceled outside of 48 hours will not have cancel penalties. No shows are subject to no refund.
