GOT AN OCEANFRONT ROOM & ROOM SMELLED MUSTY, 2 CARPETS LEFT IN ROOM WHERE GREEN SHAGGY AREA RUGS LOOKED DIRTY NOT MATCHING WITH DECOR CURTAINS POOR FOR PULLING CLOSED & OPEN & SUPER SMALL WE THOUGHT, TIGHT ETC. THEY DID RENOVATE TO UPGRADE THE LOOK & ARE STILL RENOVATING 2 BUILDINGS SO THERE ARE FENCES AROUND THOSE BUT I DONT THINK THE RENOVATION IS VERY GREAT FOR THE PRICE YOU PAY BUT YES THE OCEAN FRONT ROOM IS OCEAN FRONT YOU HEAR THAT ALL NIGHT LONG WHICH IS GREAT, LIGHT FROM STAIRS SHONE INTO OUR ROOM SO WE HAD TO CLOSE CURTAINS & THEY HAVE VERY NICE LANDSCAPING BUT ROOMS NEED BETTER RENOVATIONS, THE PULL OUT BED WAS NOT SOMETHING I WOULD EVEN PUT MY KIDS ON AS IT WAS DIRTY SO WE PUT SOME BLANKETS FROM CLOSET ON TOP OF MATTRESS

We've stayed here several times before and chose to stay here again. Beautiful ocean-front room, great pool bar, and nice people. Only PROBLEM is the SEVERE lack of parking. Guests are unable to park at the adjacent Coconut Marketplace, so if you arrive after 7 pm, you are directed to park illegally in fire lanes, in front of fire hydrants, on any open yard space. Please advise future customers of this issue... you are reluctant to want to go out at night for fear of not having parking when you return. I hope they find a solution .... or we will choose another resort the next time.

Our Sales Manager Chris Says ... The Aston at the Waikiki Banyan completed a major remodeling. It is a convenient and affordable place to stay while enjoying the beautiful island of Kauai.

Our Agent Ron Says ... Just behind the Coconut Plaza is the beautiful Islander on the Beach. The front desk welcomes you with warmth to the island. I liked that this property offered a microwave oven in their units. The rooms are spacious and the landscaped grounds are kept tidy and clean. The hotel is a good choice for those staying on the Kapaa side!!!
