This is our third time at The Shores. We have never been disppointed and this time was no different. We were particularly pleased with the addition of The Queen's Market and the growth of Waimea. We found ourselves having to travel into Kona less this time. A couple of improvements - the sofa could have been better. It had taken quite a beating and was coming apart on the connecting section. We were amazed that you have no wireless - even the small Volcano Inn and the Kona Coast Resort had free wireless. I had to go to Starbucks everyday. Nevertheless, it was a great stay. We never stop singing the praises for the Shores and can't wait for our next visit. P.S. We had really rude service from the Hertz people on arrival. The car was pretty beat up and we had expected cruise control. Will think twice about Hertz next time.

Our Owner Roz Says ... Despite its name, the Castle Kona Bali Kai is not right on the ocean, though it's near some fabulous beaches. It's located in the upscale Waikaloa Village area, surrounded by some of the most famous golf courses in Hawaii. It's ideal for families that need more room and for golf enthusiasts.
