A beautiful and economical ocean front hotel set amidst a historic grove of coconut palms. Very nice. Lots of shopping within a short stroll.

Even with construction going on the Courtyard Kauai Coconut Beach was great. Staff was always friendly and very helpful.

Our short stay at the Courtyard by Marriott was wonderful and much better than we expected for such reasonable rates. What a lovely setting. The pool and comfortable seats around the courtyard and facing the beach had such a holiday tropical feel.They were renovating the foyer while we were there but it did not disrupt our stay at all. We loved everthing about the Courtyard and would not hesitate to book through Travel Hawaii again for such great rates!

The Hotel was nice and a good view of the ocean...we did have some problems with check in as our room wasn't ready when we arrived and were told to come back at about 4:30PM when we did arrive back we found we had to check in the second time as all our paperwork had been lost in just a few hours. Then when we did get our room keys we found out the lock wasn't working and had to wait another hour for the door lock to be replaced before we could head out for supper...other than that it was a nice stay.

We were very happy with our stay here. Nice room with great views. Friendly staff. The only negative comment is the bed was a little tired so maybe it's time to replace them. Otherwise good.

We have stayed at this resort yearly since December 2001. The views from the Deluxe Oceanfront are SPECTACULAR! The resort in conveniently located on Kauai's east shore, less than one hour drives from both the north and southwest shores. Shopping and restaurants are all nearby. The staff is very friendly and EXCELLENT at what they do. The rooms clean and the Deluxe Oceanfront rooms are very quiet. Overall an excellent value!

Courtyard by Marriott Kauai Reviews image Our Sales Manager Chris Says ...    The Hotel La Croix recently completed a major remodeling and was rebranded under the ResortQuest chain. The grounds are very spacious and the hotel is set amoung a grove of coconut trees. While the property is beach front it is not a beach in which one can go swimming which is typical of hotels on Kauai's East Coast.
Our Agent Ron Says ...    The Hotel La Croix has completed a full renovation. The rooms are beautiful and the grounds are nicely landscaped with foliage and grassy lawn areas. Although the bathrooms are quite small, they do have a shower and bath tub. The property is set back amoung a grove of coconut trees and is far enough away from the shops in Kapaa to allow for a sense of tranquility. It is still close enough to the shops, however, to be very convenient for those who want to dine off property as restaurants are close by. The beach is not good for swimming or other ocean activities, however Lydgate Park and Kapaa Beach is a short drive away.
