On Feb 15, 2012 at 1:14P Sean said The Kea Lani is a wonderful place to stay on Maui. The grounds are like an oasis; lush and beautiful. Our origInal room looked into a neighbouring building but the staff responded immediately and moved us to a higher floor with a view (something to be careful about, for sure...). The staff were wonderful throughout the resort; terrific service. My wife used the spa and said it was excellent, though she preferred the Four Seasons just down the beach. The food was average at best, worse when you consider the prices paid. However, the reasonably priced Cafe on the Terrace level was much appreciated. Room was very roomy and exceeded my normal Fairmont expectations; lanai was wonderful. Overall, I would stay here again due to the room, lanai and resort staff.

Wished we had taken our boys there when they were younger - place is awesome for young families - but it was still fine for a 12 and 14 year old. The suites were nicely upgraded and very comfortable.

The staff were always very helpful. The only negative was the pullout bed which had a very thin mattress. Even the kids complained about it. l

On Jun 17, 2010 at 3:15P Stacy said The hotel was very nice. The rooms were bigger than we expected and had more room than we needed! The pools were very plain - but there was a water slide :) We also liked our beach. The staff was very friendly.

On Apr 22, 2010 at 10:41A Carolyn Perot said We had a blast here. The set up is ideal for families. The winds were pretty bad, but the pools saved the day. The staff is extremely friendly, not smarmy/obsequious. Rooms are very nice. Grounds are looking a little worse for wear. All of Maui is looking a little dated to be honest.
