The 2night stay was good. Only issue was not enough hot water in the bathroom - the hotel graciously allowed us to use the room next door to take our showers on the 2nd night (we roughed it in the lukewarm water the 1st night). The breakfasts were great - hot crispy lean bacon that is not stuck together - just the way we like it. Would love to see this old lady of a hotel again when renovations/painting all done.

Our Agent Phyllis Says ... I recommend this hotel only in the deluxe oceanfront category as it's the only category with a balcony. The property is older and in need of renovation. Consider the Hilo Hawaiian as your first choice, it's a little more expensive but it's in better condition.
