A small intimate hotel located outside of Waikiki on the "Gold Coast." Located on Kaimana Beach, the hotel has no pool. Great sunset views and great service! Hotel rooms and suites.

On Oct 14, 2015 at 09:39A Mark Mayer said This is a really nice hotel away from the noise of Waikiki. Surrounded by a peaceful park. We have stayed here 2x now. They take their no smoking policy seriously when we had issues with the neighbors. $500 fine! Nice beach right outside waiting. Even has a large convenience store for snacks.

On Feb 7, 2012 at 06:22A Laurel Hupp said We had a great time in Hawaii. If you want to get away from the Wakiki main congestion, this is your place. But it is a bit of a walk to shop and catch a ride on a boat. When people heard where we were staying they all thought it was a very nice hotel. It is small and quaint. There is no pool but there is a private beach area and it is usually not too crowded but it is shaded by the large structures in the afternoon. The service was OK except the bar was not a friendly area and had no happy hour. I hear that the ocean front rooms are large and nice however we had a moderate room and hoped that we could upgrade when we got there and they were booked (pro bowl week end) so our room was tiny, tiny but clean and the bed was small. I wouldn't stay there again and it has the reputation of more business prople enjoying it then tourist. Just depends on what you are looking for if you want to sit at the pool and enjoy the Hawaii sites, get a place closer to Wakiki.
On Jul 6, 2011 at 05:27A William Chepel said The Otani Kaimana still remains the best place to stay in Waikiki. Our room was pleasant with a beautiful view, each breakfast and one dinner at the Hau Tree was enjoyed in the peaceful restaurant and the location is away from the chaos of Waikiki. We have stayed here many times and will continue to save it as our first choice in Waikiki.
Our Agent Phyllis Says ... This is one of my favorite hotels. It is located 5 minutes away from Waikiki Beach, next to Kapiolani Park. The Park View Studios work well for families with a younger child as the beach if very toddler friendly. The difference between the ocean view and the deluxe ocean view is the square footage of the room, 205sf vs 315sf. The Park View is lovely on the higher floors. There is no self parking at this hotel and a daily fee of $10. 00 for parking.
Our Sales Manager Chris Says ... This property is located on the outskirts of Waikiki on what is referred to as the "Gold Coast. " The hotel does not have a pool but is on a great "local" beach. It is a small boutique hotel, with great service. The hotel's "Hau Tree Lanai" is a great romantic beach side restaurant. The Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium are right up the street.
