On Jun 15, 2010 at 09:20A Peggy Smith said We booked 11 days at the end of June 2010 at the Sheraton Maui through Expedia, which also included for one price airfare and a car rental. Well, I was quite surprised when I received our itinerary AFTER we had already purchased the package vacation that we will owe an additional $275 in resort fees! Really $25 a night for the services is too steep, if I had known I would have booked somewhere else. Expedia should have mentioned the fee and didn't, so both Expedia and the hotel should be ashamed. I haven't even gotten there yet and I'm already dissatisfied, my fault for not checking the blogs.
Our Agent Phyllis Says ... Jump off the famous Black Rock into clear Hawaii Waters. Great Honeymoon destination. A Short walk down to Whalers Village for great Luau's, Restaurants and Shops.
Our Owner Roz Says ... The Sheraton Maui is Kaanapali's oldest resort originally built in 1963. It was completely rebuilt in 1996. Without a doubt, it has the most prime beach front in Kaanapali, and its landscaped grounds have a quiet and open feel. Over 80% of its rooms are Ocean View or Ocean Front. The Sheraton's lei greeting and "seamless checkin" makes you feel like royalty--no front-desk check-in, just pick up your key from the valet when you drive up, and off to your room you go.
