Bike Hawaii Tours is the longest running off-road mountain bike tour company in the State of Hawaii. Since 1999, Bike Hawaii has led thousands of mountain bikers through lush valley trails, dirt roads and single track located in the Koolau Mountains of Oahu.

Beginning 2018, Bike Hawaii is switching gears and is now bringing visiting mountain bikers a whole new experience at a brand new location catering to riders who “love to ride”. The dramatic beauty of the lush Maunawili Valley, majestic Koolau Mountain cliffs and stunning ocean views are the backdrop for this epic  single track mountain biking experience on Oahu . The ride begins with a 30-minute pedal up a dirt road before entering the fun and challenging single track that runs along the base of stunning cliffs that tower above you.

Riders are required to have experience in off-road mountain biking and expect narrow trails with some steep up and down slopes, cliff exposure and obstacles such as loose gravel, roots and rocks and can become slippery when wet. Typical hike-a-bike sections are common place in Hawaii, so expect that as part of your Hawaiian single track riding. This trail ride offers challenges even for experienced riders. However, riders who take this tour and are unable to complete it due to inexperience will not be refunded.

Five miles of downhill coasting (paved road) on mountain bikes through a rainforest in the Koolau mountains is followed by a 1.5 hour sail on a 38 ft. catamaran with optional swim/snorkel (weather permitting). Includes: Waikiki transfers, Kona mountain bike; Bell helmet; rain gear; snorkel gear and deli lunch. Full Day Adventure also includes a 2-mile nature hike to a 200 ft. waterfall, boots, rain jacket and snacks.
NOTE: Pickup is 12:00 pm for Half Day or 9:00 am for Full Day Adventure. Return is 5:30 - 5:45 pm. Please have clients' shoe sizes ready for hiking boots. Recommended for beginner to intermediate.
*Minimum 4'0” tall and know how to ride a bike. A Tag-a-Long Bike Trailer available for children 3'5” minimum.

After the waterfall hike, you'll experience another specialty of Bike Hawaii on our most sought after bike tour. This easy 5-mile tropical ride coasts downhill on a paved road nestled in the lush Puu Ohia rainforest. This unique experience combines Hawaii's tropical rainforest, magnificent panoramic views of scenic Oahu, the fragrance of tropical fruits and flowers with Hawaiian culture, history, native species of bird and animals and its unique geological features.

Take a hiking trip along the slopes of an ancient cinder cone volcano and explore a lush native rainforest preserve offering sweeping views of O'ahu's two parallel mountain ranges. Soak in majestic tropical island views as you hike to a 600-foot elevation gain. This Hawaii rainforest hiking trip is rich in rare and endemic plant species, your guided 2.5 mile moderate hike will meander through a native forest as it captures distant scenic views of both the highest point of the volcanic Ko'olau Mountain range (Konahuanui at 3150 feet), the highest point of O'ahu (Mt. Ka'ala at 4025 feet), Le'ahi (Diamond Head) volcano crater, Honolulu, Waikiki, Pearl Harbor, Kailua, and the shimmering Pacific Ocean.

Above average fitness level required for this 2.5 mile one-way Hawaii volcano hike. Sturdy shoes with good traction on dirt and rainforest mud is a must.

Explore East Oahu on this unforgettable journey with an exclusive van shuttle to the 1,200 ft. high ridge top at  Kamehame , which is part of the  Ko'olau Summit Trail (KST) . Nowhere else on Oahu can you get a driving tour comparable to this view. Perfect for the mobility impaired as you can stay on flat ground to get this view. From this privately owned cliff top perch, gaze overlooking Waimanalo Beach and the various shades of the blue Pacific Ocean with several offshore islands seemingly within your reach. This is a  spectacular and rare perspective of windward Oahu only offered through our company . Also known as Deadman's Catwalk as it used to have a concrete walkway to the cliff edge. That structure has since been demolished by the landowner, but the views are why people are so fascinated by this location. You will capture some of the most breathtaking pictures of Oahu from here seeing two-sides of the island from one scenic point. For those with hiking savvy, enjoy a short, but challenging half-mile round-trip guided hike along the KST for an extra birds-eye view of the windward beaches below.
