Rear facing.
For infants 5-22 pounds

Toddler Seat
Forward facing.
For toddlers 22-65 pounds

Booster Seat
Required for children aged 4-7
Unless over 4'9"

Hawaii State law requires the use of secured Infant Seats, Toddler Seats, and Booster Seats for all children in the vehicle.
All adults and larger children must wear seat belts.

All Hawaii rental car companies require the driver to be 21 or over.
If you are between 21 and 24, additional underage surcharges of $25/day or more will be charged by the rental car companies.
