Parking is available at the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel parking structure. Please take your parking ticket to our staff at the Trilogy Ocean Sports Beach Kiosk before your trip and they will validate it so you may exit the parking structure without charge.

PLEASE NOTE - You will be loading directly from the beach, through the water, onto the boat and you will get wet. Wear your swimsuit (with a cover-up) and please place your cell phone and camera in a dry bag.

Ka'anapali is ideally located for enjoying the many ocean adventures we offer including sailing, snorkeling, and whale watching. And it is the only location where we actually pick up and drop off guests directly from the beach. Some of the best Maui snorkel sites are only a few miles away and our crew will choose the best destination for that day. Our experienced and dedicated crew are masters of teaching first time snorkelers, and if you're an old pro and want an underwater experience that goes beyond snorkeling, you may want to try SNUBA, one of our most popular upgrades. We provide all the snorkeling equipment and instruction, as well as wet suit tops for everyone on board, breakfast, lunch, soda and snacks, and that personalized service you've come to expect from Maui's first family of sailing. With those famous Maui tradewinds just a few hundred yards off shore, our crew wastes no time in hoisting sail and getting into some serious sailing! Finally, even if you are not staying on or near Ka‘anapali beach, our later morning departures give you plenty of time to make the drive from any part of the island.

We depart from Lahaina Harbor at around 10 am (seasonally we offer a sunrise departure at 6:30am--this is the "Crew's Favorite"!) and begin our day with an island style breakfast of Mom's homemade cinnamon rolls, coffee, juice and seasonal fruit. Deli snacks are also served on-board during the one and a half hour sail to this very special island (10am departure only). Because we are the only company with permission to bring guests to Hulopo'e Marine Preserve (Voted the #1 beach in America by Dr. Beach), we pay close attention to both your safety and comfort. Our Trilogy crew, as well as our island born Beach Boys, are trained in CPR and First Aid, and are experts at insuring your safety in and out of the water. Besides swimming, snorkeling, sunbathing, beach volleyball, and the increasingly popular SNUBA, we also offer a guided tour of Lana‘i's historic plantation town narrated by island born and raised Hawaiian Cultural Guides. Our Kiawe wood BBQ dinner, served at the Hale O Manele over looking Manele Bay, is considered by many to be one of the best in Hawai‘i! The return sail to Maui can be restful and relaxing, or wet & wild, but it is always safe and lots of fun. Parking at the Republic Parking Lot on Dickenson Street in Lahaina, look for the "Trilogy Parking" sign. The parking fee is $10.00 (credit card only) for the day (other lots may charge up to $20). A Trilogy crew member will meet you and help with parking and directions to Lahaina Harbor where our Captain will check you in.

For many, to snorkel Molokini crater is a "must-do" on their Maui vacation. But, with so many boats to choose from, why choose Trilogy? For starters, we are one of the few real sailing trips, and Ma'alaea Bay is one of the great flat water sailing destinations in Hawaii. Next, we take 40-50 guests while the big power cats can average 125-149 passengers. That should be reason enough to go with Trilogy, but there's more! We also go to two snorkeling sites rather than just one. Not only does this give our guests additional variety, it's our way of avoiding some of the crowds. We provide all snorkel equipment including instruction and wetsuits. We also offer the option to try the new exciting sport of SNUBA! As you are escorted to your individual table, the evening begins with cocktails and sailing along the pali sea cliffs. After mooring in a protected cove, the first course is served. From there on, our crew are quick to accommodate your every need and will serve your remaining three courses including an entrée of your choice that our onboard chef is preparing in the galley. Dessert and drinks are enjoyed as the sun sets on another beautiful Maui day and the evening continues with music under the stars. This is no ordinary dinner! Under the direction of executive Chef Bailey, each course has been thoughtfully put together using fresh, local ingredients, creating a masterpiece for your tastebuds. Pair that with a glass of champagne, outstanding service, and postcard-worthy scenery, and you have a dinner you’ll remember for a lifetime.

A Sanctuary Dedicated to the Endangered Humpback Whale and its Habitat
The Hawaiian Islands Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary is dedicated to protecting the Endangered Humpback Whale and its Habitat. Trilogy is an official sponsor of the Whale Sanctuary and has been involved in supporting and promoting the goals of the Sanctuary since its inception. Captain Jim Coon was the first Chairman of the Sanctuary Advisory Council (SAC) and served as such for almost a decade (Jim is still actively involved helping to determine the management plan and direction of the SAC).
On this two hour whale watch out of either LAHAINA, KAANAPALI or MAALAEA , Trilogy is dedicated to sharing accurate information about the Endangered Humpback Whale and its habitat with our guests through our on-board naturalists. Trilogy's goal is to give guests a meaningful encounter with these magnificent creatures without disturbing their behavior while following the Sanctuary Whale Watching Guidelines (recognizing the approach limits of 100 Yards). Trilogy has Hydrophones on board so you are often able to hear the Whales sing their incredible songs.
Enjoy an assortment of snacks and a variety of soft drinks and filtered water throughout the trip. Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase throughout your excursion.
