A nice budget property on the Big Island's Eastern shore. A great base for visiting the Volcano National Park, and the only recommended property in Hilo. Hotel rooms and 1 bedroom condo.

Great location and view. Excellent hotel for the money. The parks around the hotel were fantastic

The Castle Hilo Hawaiian is an older hotel, but it was clean and in good repair, and the price was quite reasonable. However, we would have liked to have had wireless service, a hairdryer, and a working printer in the lobby so we could print out our airline boarding passes. The underground parking lot was great - we arrived in a downpour.
