really enjoyed our stay at the resort. our acommodation was of a high standard and all staff were very helpful

Chris: We returned home last night and in the main the trip was terrific. The only exception I would say is we were not really happy with our accommodations at Kapalua Villas. We have always had a duplex and this time we were not only on one level but that level was four flights of stairs down. We had to move from the first Villa to which we were assigned because there was no fairway view unless we craned our necks and the same with the ocean view. The Villa was woefully under equipped (i.e.: a two bedroom villa but only 3 soup bowls. Stuff like that). Once we moved the view was excellent, but then the rains came and we found all the leaks in the new villa. They were fixed, but a hole was left in the bedroom closet where my clothes were drenched. We had to fight them to get the daily paper we were promised in our itinerary--and they blamed you because you had not specified a certain type of unit. They did relent and provide the paper after I complained to them, and it arrived almost every day. I think, if we go back to Kapalua you and I will have to have a more in depth discussion about our accommodations before we travel the several thousand miles to get there. As you know we have been there about eight times--and each time has been wonderful. This time it seemed to us that Kapalua's bloom was faded somewhat.
