Our stay at in bldg F104 ocean view was very comfortable & enjoyable. Pono Kai is beautifully landscaped, close to a great walking path, amenities galore, front desk staff, close to many conveniences, etc. Recommendations: fix the front door for easy opening, brighter lights in the bathroom and let guest know what the code is to the lock box in their reservation form. Mahalo

While their ocean frontage is not suitable for swimming, the bike and walking path in front affords a chance to take a walk or pedal along a pleasant coastline. Near shops and restaurants, the Pono Kai is a good starting point to go to any part of Kauai.
