I had the time of my life! I was attending a seminar at the Sheraton Keauhou Resort & Spa (SKRS) over the weekend of 13-14 March 2010. I came to Kailua-Kona two days before, and stayed two days after, the seminar. I am partially handicapped, mobile with a cane. I decided to stay at SKRS so I would not have to rent a vehicle and spend precious time driving. Oh, was I glad I did that! From the moment I arrived at SKRS, a weary traveller whose flight was delayed over two hours, the SKRS staff made me feel so welcome. My every question was answered promptly and most courteously; I was escorted, door to door, when I was uncertain where to go (read: lost!); and multiple needs were met, some even before I anticipated them. I don't think I have ever had a more enjoyable "vacation" (although, technically, it wasn't one). When I had to leave, at the un-Godly hour of 5:30 a.m., I made sure to tell the cheerful desk person that SKRS staff made me feel like a princess! I hope this review will really get to SKRS.
