The only resort on Oahu's North Shore--Hawaii's premiere surfing area. Excellent alternative to Waikiki. Ocean front villas and cottages plus mostly ocean front hotel rooms.

We took our family of 7 to Turtle Bay over Christmas break and we loved it! It is so nice to be able to walk from your hotel to the pool AND the beach. We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite which was plenty big for our family and the views of the ocean were spectacular. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The rooms do need to be updated as things seem to be getting a bit worn down... but we spent the majority of our time enjoying the beautiful North Shore that we didn't really mind the room. Travel-Hawaii did an excellent job helping us plan this vacation and we would definitely use them again.

This is our second stay at the Turtle Bay Resort. First the criticism: We had an oceanfront 3-bedroom villa reserved. We were paying top dollar as this was during Spring Break. The first place they gave us where we did stay for one night was unacceptable. If we stood on the balcony and looked out around the corner we could see the ocean. We could see (and hear) the kids playing in the pool, though. When we complained the next morning, they changed it to a much better place that had a good view and wasn't so close to the pool. Now, why don't hotels give people the best room they have??? The Fitness Room needs updating but the miles of oceanfront trails make you want to get your fitness in other ways. I would go back to this hotel again, maybe not during the height of Spring Break and I would be sure to check out my room before I unpacked.

Awesome vacation for our family of 6. Everything through travel-Hawaii went exactly as planned. Turtle Bay will be the only spot on the north shore I ever stay at. Way too many activities to choose from for the kids. Golf, swimming, si Surfing , etc. they have it all. Our rooms were plenty big having two rooms and living room. Top floor provided great views of the surfers and sunset every evening The hotel staff could nothave been nicer We will return and I highly recommend

We loved it! The only thing that has to change is the refrigerator was old, and things were rusty under the sink. People were very kind, and comfortable to stay at the Turtle Bay Resort.

Turtle Bay was an amazing resort. You could not ask for a better location. The views are amazing. We stayed in a Pikake Jr. Suite and loved every minute of it. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. The cleaning ladies were quick to greet us anytime we passed in the hallways. The concierge was helpful and knowledgeable. The front desk was warm and welcoming. The restaurants left a little bit to be desired for the prices they were charging. I would recommend venturing out for meals, as you can find much more quality food for the value. We would definitely visit Turtle Bay again!

Great, Great Resort ... Friendly and accomodating staff, clean rooms, and a nice place to get away from it all.

As others have mentioned, the resort setting is absolutely beautiful! The resort itself is immaculately clean and inviting. We found the reception desk staff, valets and shop attendants to be cheerful and helpful. We did not eat on site so I can't comment on restaurant or bar service/food. Our only issue during the two night stay was that our room was not cleaned after the first night. We waited until about 7pm, then I called to request fresh towels and coffee. We had our privacy sign up until 9am that morning, and again for an hour and a half in the mid afternoon, but we actually SAW the housekeepers making their way through our floor when we went out twice during the day, so they must have known we were going out. Not a "deal breaker" as we'll certainly go back if we vacation to Oahu again; however, lack of cleaning isn't really acceptable in a 5 star resort that charges a $25 daily resort fee.

This was a fantastic resort. It was clean, beautiful, friendly. Staff went out of their way to be accommodating. Every room has an amazing view of the ocean. I wish we had stayed longer.

Our family goes to Turtle Bay every year, and it gets better each time. We love staying in the villas and the hotel staff couldn't be better. The housekeeping staff was so good that they coordinated our villa cleaning while we were at breakfast buffet every morning. The Seafood festival was great. We can't wait to return again!

The resort itself and the location were magnificent. A few things could improve the experience, however. First off, in my many many trips to Hawaii (3 islands), I have never experienced such an unwelcome feeling from resort staff. Front desk people were always harried and neglected to even welcome us to the resort. The concierge had to be interrupted from studying (a textbook was open in front of her) to ask a question. The other one was no better and offered no additional info when you inquired about hiking trails. Not even a smile. Housekeeping never got to our room until 3 or 4 pm and the pillows were absolutely horrendous. My husband and I both woke up with very stiff necks and had to request new pillows. The restaurant Ola (sp?) was lovely, but the hostess was very strange and (again) very unwelcoming. We would stay there again because of the magnificent location, but the service/staff left A LOT to be desired.

My husband and I have stayed at Turtle Bay at least 6 times, and every time it gets better. I love the relaxing effects is has on us. We particularly like to hike the trail along the beach, and sometimes we are the only people on the trail, it's absolutely lovely! We already have our next trip for October planned.
