Hotel was beautiful although room was small. After Maui I went to Hilton Hawaiian Village in Oahu and room was considerable bigger for about same price. Would have liked music around pool area. Big slide inoperable. That was a shame because my 10 yr. old was really looking forward to it. On a positive note, my kids loved the basketball hoop in the pool and the beach was great. They especially enjoyed the waves to go boogie boarding. Staff was ok. THe most personable was Carlito in the outdoor breakfast buffet restaurant.

The Westin Maui Resort is by far the best place to stay on maui. Its location right next to Whalers Village is great. it s just down the road from Lahaina where all the action is. The grounds are unbelievable. The ocean view room was great. You wake up every morning with the greastest view of the ocean and grounds that you can imagine. The next time we will stay in the ocean tower so that we don t have to look into the hot sun in the evening. That probably is classed as partial ocean view. As long as you stay on the grounds side it would be perfect. All of the staff were excellent. The resturants and bars are pricy. The buffet breakfast ran about $60 plus tip every morning for the two of us but it was great. The Sheraton Maui up the beach may be great also but I would not hesitate to stay here again. Number one in my estimation.

We stayed here in February 2012 and had the most incredible experience. The atmosphere, pools, rooms and staff were amazing! We felt spoiled rotten the entire week and can't imagine staying anywhere else on our next trip to Maui!

Our stay was very pleasant, staff were friendly and very accommodating, pool outstanding, comfortable room and the location was ideal. Excellent!

Great hotel and staff. Wonderful location. Only problem encountered was with Internet access. Was unavailable a few times during our stay.

Odd smell in room. Walls were thin (If u get my drift). Grounds were spectacular. Not bad over-all.

We stayed here in November. All the staff were wonderful and very friendly & helpful. The pools were the best. I never thought I would say this about a hotel room but the beds were the best for any hotel that I stayed in. I stayed in 3 other upscale hotels and the beds were not as memorable as the beds in this hotel. I want to find out how to purchase one for my home. But the whole experience was just wonderful.

Westin Maui Resort Reviews image Our Owner Roz Says ...    Mauna Lani Point is one of Kaanapali's finest resorts, with a very friendly staff well-accustomed to giving superb service. The extensive pool area and waterslide will keep kids happy for many hours, and the beach is superb. The extensive oriental art collection--spread throughout the property by original developer Chris Hemmeter--blends beautifully with the Hawaiian tropical landscaping. And don't miss the Sunday Champagne brunch! Right next door to Mauna Lani Point is Whaler's Village, featuring many fine restaurants and shops.
Our Agent Maryjayne Says ...    This is probably my favorite resort in the Kaanapali area . . . Mauna Lani Point is a wonderful property that is located right on a beautiful stretch of Kaanapali Beach. The pool area is great and even has real live pink flamingos! The Westin is famous for the bedding in their guest rooms. Called "Heavenly Beds", they are very comfortable. Westin Maui Resort Reviews image Our Agent Phyllis Says ...    In my opinion, the Westin Maui is the best hotel within the Kaanapali Resort area. It has one of the best swimming pools in Hawaii, complete with a 60ft winding water slide! It's location nex to Whalers Village and a two mile long white sand beach make it perfect for families. Make sure to get up early and get a beach chair because they do fill up rather quickly.
